SHIRA AFRICA SIZE GUIDE
Find the fit that feels like you.
At Shira Africa, we believe clothing should celebrate your individuality while making you feel comfortable and confident.
Our pieces may have different silhouettes and fits, so always check the individual product page for specific measurements before ordering.
1. How to Measure
For the most accurate result, measure yourself over light clothing and keep the measuring tape comfortably close to your body without pulling it tight.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape level across your back.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Shoulder
Measure from the edge of one shoulder across to the edge of the other shoulder.
Length
For dresses, skirts, tops, or other full-length pieces, measure from the indicated starting point to where you want the garment to end.
2. General Women’s Size Guide
Please note: These measurements are a general guide and may not correspond exactly to every Shira Africa design.
3. Choosing Between Sizes
If your measurements fall between two sizes, consider the style and intended fit of the garment.
- For a more fitted look, you may prefer the smaller size.
- For a more relaxed fit, you may prefer the larger size.
- For structured pieces, always prioritize the product-specific measurements.
If you are unsure, contact our team before placing your order.
4. Handcrafted Variations
Many Shira Africa pieces are handcrafted. Slight differences in measurements, texture, print placement, colour, or finishing may occur.
These subtle variations are part of the beauty and individuality of handcrafted fashion.
