Pre-Order Policy

Some Shira Africa pieces are released through pre-order. Pre-orders allow us to create selected pieces with greater intention and reduce unnecessary production.

Because a pre-order is different from purchasing an item that is already in stock, please read the following information before ordering.

1. What Is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order is an order placed for a product that is not currently ready for immediate dispatch.

When you place a pre-order, you are reserving a piece that will be produced or prepared for you according to the stated production timeline.

2. Pre-Order Timelines

The estimated production or dispatch timeframe will be stated on the relevant product page where possible.

Production times are estimates and may change due to:

• Material availability.

• Handcrafting and production requirements.

• Quality control.

• Supplier delays.

• Logistics.

• Circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If there is a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate the updated timeframe.

3. Payment

Unless otherwise stated, payment is required when the pre-order is placed.

Your payment secures your pre-order allocation.

4. Pre-Order Changes

Once a pre-order has entered production, changes to size, colour, design, or other specifications may not be possible.

Please carefully review your order before completing payment.

5. Cancellation

Pre-orders may not be cancellable once production has commenced, except where required by applicable law or otherwise agreed by Shira Africa.

If we are unable to fulfil your pre-order, we will contact you regarding an appropriate resolution, which may include a refund.

6. Returns & Refunds

Because pre-order pieces may be produced specifically for the customer, they may be subject to different return conditions.

Unless otherwise stated, pre-order items may not be eligible for return simply because the customer changes their mind.

This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law where the item is defective, incorrect, or otherwise eligible for a statutory remedy.

7. Combining Pre-Orders With In-Stock Items

If your order contains both pre-order and in-stock products, we may hold the complete order until the pre-order item is ready unless separate shipping is arranged.

Additional shipping charges may apply where separate shipments are requested.
